John F. Sencich

A seasoned executive with over 40 years of experience in the electrical industry, John has been involved in many aspects of running businesses both locally and globally. He started his career learning the ins/outs of manufacturing with an aircraft manufacturer in the Toronto area.

The early part of his career focussed on Marketing and Sales with increasing responsibilities leading to broader management roles encompassing entire businesses with manufacturing operations in Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton and Sydney Australia.

Throughout his entire career, John has been active in numerous industry committees and associations assuming the leadership of several.

John has retired as Division Executive Vice President and General Manager of one of the leading electrical manufacturers in Canada. He now spends his time serving on Boards of Directors.

In 2018, Electro Federation Canada honoured John with the Industry Recognition Award for his outstanding contribution and leadership in the Canadian Electrical Industry and to the association.
